Our Guarantee

Quirky Norfolk Bakes will provide a professional service from start to finish, in a timely manner in accordance with your delivery date. We are grateful for your business and appreciate that you have chosen to use us for your baked goods.

We guarantee that all products bought from us will be the correct flavours, designs and sizes specified upon ordering. If you are not satisfied with our product(s), please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will come to an agreement on how to proceed.


All orders can be placed with us Online on our website, through our Facebook page (@quirkynorfolkbakes), via email (quirkynorfolk19@gmail.com), or via text/WhatsApp on 07500202941. We will aim to respond to your enquires as quickly as we can.

When ordering, we will keep a record of your specific requirements, including design, flavours, colours, topping choices, and sizing.

Please refer to our Facebook page, as we update our products weekly.

We will also ask for your contact details including your delivery address, which will be kept under data protection, and as a company, we promise to not disclose to any other third-party companies.

We will require at least 2 weeks’ notice for all large orders, however, please do not hesitate to contact us regarding an order, as depending on how busy we are, we may be able to fit you in.


Payment can be made via BACS, PayPal, or cash on collection/delivery. (Bank details, or PayPal email will be given out upon order).

A deposit may be requested from you for cakes above £50.

If you receive an invoice from Quirky Norfolk Bakes, whether you’re an individual or a company, you will be asked to make full payment of the outstanding balance stated on your invoice, within 14 days of the given Tax Date. Any  late payment or failure to pay will result in further action.


Please let us know as soon as possible if there are any changes to your order(s).

For larger cakes, 2 weeks’ notice for any alterations will be required, this is to ensure we can get the ingredients, decorations, flavours, or colourings.


Please notify us if you would like to cancel your order. Please allow at least 72hrs, as decorations, ingredients etc may have already been purchased, therefore we may have to charge a fee to cover for this outlay and time spent. Ideally please let us know no later that 2 weeks before cancellation.

If, for whatever reason, be it personal or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we must cancel your order, we would refund any payment already made, and would liaise with you to reschedule your order. (This would only be in extreme circumstances, and has not happened to date). 

Special requests and dietary requirements

Please be aware that all our products are made using the same equipment, and although we have measures in place to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that our products are completely allergen free for highly sensitive people.

We will try our best to meet your dietary requirements (this includes, but is not limited to dairy, vegan, gluten free and nut free), however we as a company accept no liability for damage to health, or any distress caused to you by the consumption of our products. (This is due to our expectation being that all order(s), from customers are fully explained in terms of dietary requirements).

If you have any dietary requirements, or use specific products, please notify us with these alternatives so we can do our best to meet your needs,

All our products come with a use by date, and an allergen label, therefore we will notify you of any product containing nuts or other allergens.

Postal Order information

Orders placed with us before 5pm Monday - Friday will be baked the next day (unless we state otherwise), and will then be posted out the following day with your chosen delivery option. (Standard/Express). E.g, Order placed on Tuesday, Baked on Wednesday & Postage Thursday.

Any orders placed after 5pm Monday-Friday may not be baked the next day, but if we are able to, we will. E.g. Order placed on Monday after 5pm, Order picked up on Tuesday and Baked on Tuesday Afternoon/Wednesday. Order Posted Thursday/Friday.

Any orders placed on a Friday after 11am will not be picked up until the following Monday, when they will be baked and sent out the next working day (Tuesday).

If you have paid for standard delivery, you will receive a notification when your baked goods have been posted, and they should be with you within 2-3 working days. (1st Class Postage). 

If you have paid for express delivery, you will receive a notification when your baked goods have been posted, and they should be with you the next working day. (Tracked 24)

If there are any issues with your order regarding the delivery, we will email you to offer you options of how to proceed. 


All products will be delivered/collected on a pre-arranged day with the customer. (Collection time will be also arranged with the customer).

Delivery will be free within a 15-mile radius of Bodham, Holt. Further afield deliveries will be charged at an additional cost, subject to discussion with the customer.

If nobody is home when we attempt to make a delivery, we will try and leave with a neighbour, or alternatively a safe place, and a photograph will be taken of delivery attempt and time. (If you know you will not be in, and are still happy for us to deliver, please leave a note or let us know where you would like us to leave the order).

We cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs after we have delivered the product. As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the product is kept in a cool, dry, safe place, away from direct sunlight. We cannot accept any responsibility for deterioration of the product after delivery/collection.

On extreme circumstances we may have to retain your order, but we will contact you immediately to rearrange delivery/collection. Your order will only be retained for 24hrs, and we reserve the right to resell if no contact has been made after this time. You will also not be refunded for your purchase.

Refund Policy

We do hope that you will be pleased with your purchase, however if you are dissatisfied with any of our products, please contact us immediately through our Facebook page (@quirkynorfolkbakes), via email (quirkynorfolk19@gmail.com), or via text/WhatsApp on 07500202941.

If you do not contact us immediately and leave it more than 24hrs to raise a dispute with us, then we reserve the right to not be liable for any refund.

We will aim to respond to your dispute as soon as possible. We will do our utmost to resolve the issue, by offering either a full refund, or a credit in the form of a gift voucher to the value of your original purchase.

Please provide us with photographic proof of any issue with the product, as we will not be able to refund you if you have complained but your order has been consumed. Returned products will not be accepted as food could have been contaminated by this point.

All orders will be tailored to the customers specific flavour, taste, and requirements, therefore we will not be liable to refund any money to the customer simply because of that matter.

We as a company endeavour to provide the right colouring for your order, however we cannot guarantee that the colour you have seen on your phone or device is accurate to the colour you received on delivery/collection. Therefore, we are not liable to refund you any money merely because the colour is not as expected. 


We as a company, reserve the right to amend our terms and conditions. This is to reflect changes in market conditions, technology changes, payment methods, relevant laws, and regulatory requirements.

We take pride in our business and customers, and endeavour to keep our customers satisfied, whilst obtaining the highest standards possible. 

We as a company also reserve the right to cancel or terminate any regular orders with with companies such as shops, cafes, etc, if we have reasoning to do so. We will not be held liable if we wish to terminate our trading with you with immediate effect. 

As a customer, you agree to our terms and conditions, and agree to read through them before making a purchase, or a dispute/claim against the company.
